Brand Origins

Global Vision

1985

A Legacy of Science and Nature: The birth of Swiss Control

In 1985, Swiss Control was born in France, a brand committed to creating skincare products that combine science and natural ingredients. Its focus was on using active ingredients such as collagen and elastin, essential for maintaining skin elasticity and firmness. Swiss Control quickly positioned itself in the market for its scientific approach and ability to offer effective treatments for normal, combination, and sensitive skin.

1995

The Transformation to La Forêt

As the brand grew and diversified its products, Swiss Control transformed into La Forêt in 1995. This change not only represented a name shift but also an expansion of its product portfolio. Iconic collections such as La Forêt-Swiss Control, aimed at sensitive skin, and La Forêt-ProtoSerum, focused on anti-aging treatments, were launched. These introductions marked the beginning of a new era for the brand.

2002

1998

The Birth of Glycoderm

In 1998, La Forêt implemented the active ingredient Glycoderm, an intensive liposomal moisturizer that enables deep skin penetration. This innovative ingredient, made from hyaluronic acid and honey, uses liposomes to encapsulate treatments and optimize their absorption. Glycoderm has been a key component in the evolution of the brand's deep hydration products.

Hygroplex HHG: The Hydration Revolution

In 2002, La Forêt introduced Hygroplex HHG, an active ingredient that restores the skin's ability to retain water at the level of Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF). Its success lies in a complex of amino acids that help improve the skin’s water retention capacity, providing long-lasting hydration and repairing the epidermis. This breakthrough became a cornerstone for the brand’s hydrating products.

2004

Sun and Science: Innovation in Hydration and Sun Protection

Continuing its effort to meet customer needs, La Forêt introduced moisturizing products with sun protection. These products not only hydrated the skin but also offered protection against UV damage, a significant advancement for the brand.

2005

The Power of Anti-Aging

The year 2005 was pivotal for La Forêt with the launch of its MPC Swiss Repair Complex Anti-Age Serum and Chrono-energizer Mist with SPF, products that incorporated the latest advancements in anti-aging technology. These innovations reaffirmed the brand’s commitment to science and efficacy.

2014

Reformulation and Sustainability

In response to market trends and consumer demands, La Forêt reformulated several of its iconic products in 2014. The new versions of its moisturizers and sun protectors not only improved their efficacy but also embraced a more sustainable approach, with enhanced ingredients and more eco-friendly packaging.

2024
